WHIRC research spans public health, psychology, bioengineering, and artificial intelligence. Our work is organized around conditions that uniquely or disproportionately affect women, and the data and methods needed to study them.
WHIRC is funded by a University of Maryland Grand Challenges Institutional Grant, which supports interdisciplinary research, seed funding for new projects, and training for the next generation of women’s health researchers.
