For Faculty & Researchers

Interested in joining the collaborative or exploring an interdisciplinary project in women’s health? We welcome affiliates from every school and college at the University of Maryland. Members join our mailing list and directory and can opt in to one or more Affinity Research Teams.

For Students & Trainees

WHIRC offers mentorship and training opportunities at the intersection of public health, psychology, bioengineering, and AI — including graduate assistantships, research assistant positions, and seed research opportunities. Workshops and symposia are announced on our Events page.

For Community Partners

Community partnership is one of WHIRC’s three pillars. If your organization works on women’s health — from maternal health to health equity — we’d love to explore how research can support your mission.

For Industry Partners

WHIRC welcomes collaboration with companies working to improve women’s health, from medical devices and diagnostics to digital health and AI. Opportunities include sponsored research, data and technology partnerships, student internships, and translating discoveries into products that reach women.
